Architectural Modelling

This refers to modelling of all major architectural and aesthetic components like walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, roofs etc. Not only can architectural 3D models be used to validate proposed concepts and visualize designs but the same models can also be used as decision making tools during the construction phase as well.

Structural Modelling

This is the representation of structural members such as beams, columns, slabs, footings, piles, reinforcement, post tension cables etc. One of the major benefit of using BIM for structures is to enable accurate calculation of cost and quantities associated and also optimize components like Rebar to the minutest detail. Techture leads this process by integrating analysis and design through the use of the BIM model.

Interior Modelling

Techture has an efficient team to precisely model the required families/components for interior BIM modelling. Interior modelling is important at the planning stage of projects as it is crucial to plan the locations of all the MEP components. If all the interior details including furniture and other aesthetic models are modelled according to the exact dimensions and appearance, it gives a more detailed visual appeal to the model and also provides better idea of the space constraints related to the project. Also, the study of interaction of the interior components with the structural and architectural components is important to be virtually executed and any possible coordination issues should be dealt with before procurement of expensive interior items.

Mechanical Modelling

Modelling involves ducts, mechanical pipelines and equipment. The models can be used for quick estimation of quantities required and generation of fabrication drawings. Other benefits include the use of 3D models for coordination and checking clashes with other disciplines.

Electrical Modelling

Electrical systems are the lifeline of any building. As buildings get increasingly complex, modelling of electrical components is not only necessary to avoid clashes and delays on site, but also for linking with Building automation systems (BAS/BMS) once the building has been constructed. Elements like cable trays, switches, electrical equipment and fixtures, lighting, telephone, nurse call, security, data, communication etc. are all modeled under this discipline.

Plumbing Modelling

Plumbing systems of any building comprise of drainage, water supply, waste disposal, rainwater, stormwater drainage etc. Pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fixtures, valves comprise these systems. At Techture we use 3D plumbing models not just for clash detection but also for pipe sizing and pressure loss calculations.

Landscape Modelling

The landscape level BIM Models incorporate terrain, topography and other landscape components like ponds, trees, existing natural elements etc. An accurate 3D Model of the landscape can be associated with the available site survey data. A digital database of important landscape features like trees, shrubs, ponds etc. can be used for getting centralized information about the large array of elements included in the drawings and existing terrain.

Steel Detailing

Techture has advanced expertise in rebar detailing – 3D rebar modelling, drawing and estimation using Revit Structures. We offer services which following industry standards ASTM, ACI, CRSI, AASHTO, RSIO, BS 8666 to structural engineers, rebar fabricators, detailers, general contractors, concrete contractors, and designers.

Infrastructure Modelling

BIM is not just confined to buildings but also has immense potential to benefit infrastructural developments. Projects like highways, metros, flyovers can be highly augmented through the use of virtual modelling and coordination tools. The model can be useful for spatial coordination of services and progressively for other important deliverable like accurate quantity estimation and 4D simulations. Important calculations like cut and fill analysis and mass haul diagrams can be dynamically generated from the modules provided by BIM assisted programs. BIM helps to centralize the information related to these mass scale projects.
